RAS is committed to developing and growing our railcar management business. Since January 2008, RAS has increased the managed fleet size to roughly 240,000 units, a testimony to the systems and staff resource that is resident to meet the challenges faced by railcar fleet owners. Applications that maintain compliance with industry initiative and requirement are critical components of the RAS profile. In addition, the intuitive knowledge to intelligently manage rail fleets is a core objective for future systems and staff development. Our core competency and business profile is focused on railcar management technique and administration. Since RAS has no affiliation with Class1 railroads or contract shop facilities our business applications are not influenced by non-core initiatives.
