Every effort will be made to repair bad ordered cars on site by use of a mobile repair contractor. When it is necessary to send a car to a contract repair shop however, the appropriate shop will be determined by the following:
- Delivering railroad and proximity to bad ordered car
- Previous quality history
- Previous cost history
- Previous turnaround history
- Current backlog
